More beautiful 100% merino wool felted dreadlock scarves. These colourful and unusual scarves are approximately 145cm long and are $12 Australian dollars each.

Christmas at Home Cottage!

Only home made gifts under the tree this year: like hats from my own spun wool, soy candles, dreadlock scarves, felted needlebooks and dried fruits in riesling. We made the gift tags from the brown card that the gift wrap was rolled around .

Plenty of food at Home Cottage!

Sticking seeds and seedlings everywhere several weeks ago has certainly paid off! There is silverbeet to harvest, little tomatoes, so many herbs, zuchinni and button squash. The sweet corn is growing and there is heaps of Chinese stir fry greens growing with a few weeks to go until harvest time. The cos lettuces and parsley are still a bit small and I am hoping to harvest the pumpkin for New Year.

Rainbow dyeing

A lovely lady named Kaye introduced me to a new dyeing method and from now on all my dyeing will be done this way. As you can see the rainbow colours are beautifully vibrant and I am so happy with the results!

Look who joined the family!

The newest member of Home Cottage is a rescued rabbit named Briggs. He, like all members of Home Cottage has to contribute to our mini farm and Briggs is Lawn Manager and in charge of herb fertilization. He has a beautiful 2 story home I call his 'Wabitat'
