Portable worm farm.

As seen on Gardening Australia - I have sewn a bag of shade cloth and Jas filled it with kitchen scraps and weeds and some dirt and put in a handful of worms. We put it under the apple tree and gave it a water and it should work a treat to fertilise and improve the soil around this neglected tree.

Updated poultry yard.

Now we only have 4 chooks and 2 ducks and we have modified the poultry run/orchard so that one-third is kept for growing food for the poultry. We have planted corn and sunflowers and grasses so that we can harvest it and throw it over the fence for them to eat.

Frog hitching a lift.

This frog jumped out of the umbrella and hitched a ride first on my foot and then on my skirt around the garden before jumping into the basil plants.
